The smiths at Odin Arms rebuild the Greener actions by cleaning, resurfacing, and replacing the worn parts
with new where needed.
A new 45/70 Octagon barrel is fitted to each action.
The choice of barrel lengths are 30in., 32in.and 34in. with a 1-18in. Twist on the riffles.:
22in. ,24in., and 26in., with a 1-20in. Twist on the carbines.
There are two choices of sights: Fiber Optic type with contrasting red front and green rear dots,
allowing speedy sight alignment. Fully adjustable "U- Notch" rear sight which enhances precision
alignment for long-range shots. Second choice is the Traditional adjustable Buckhorn sights.
The wood is taken from the original Greener shotgun stocks, which is a good hard maple.
Some have a "tiger stripe" in the grain, others have a few battle scars (stains).
Put this altogether and you have a truly unique firearm....one that will be the envy of
all your friends. You will be proud to hand down this gun to your children.
When the proto type was sent to the range for testing, the only complaint the tester had was
that he didn't have enough ammo. He said that due to the great balance and low recoil,
he could have shot all day long.
